Dr. Segev Shani joined Neopharm Group in 2008 as VP Medical Affairs and Regulation, after serving in a range of positions in the healthcare industry's business and public sectors, including Medical Director of Janssen-Cilag Israel (J&J), Head of the Medical Technologies Department at Maccabi Healthcare Services, and Deputy Director of the Ministry of Health's Pharmaceutical Division.

Segev is a graduate of the School of Pharmacy and holds a doctorate from the School of Pharmacy and the Faculty of Dental Medicine at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He holds a master's degree in health systems management and an MBA, both from the Faculty of Management at Tel Aviv University, as well as an LL.B. from Netanya College.

Segev serves as a senior lecturer in the Department of Health Systems Management and at the School of Pharmacy at Ben-Gurion University in Beer Sheva, at both undergraduate and graduate school levels.
