Promedicois one of Israel's leading supply chain service providers. The company's services include, among others: importing medicines, consumer products and medical and laboratory equipment; distribution to a large number of points of sale and logistics centers in Israel; operating a customer relations center that serves thousands of customers every day; adapting products to the requirements of the Israeli market in accordance with Ministry of Health guidelines; and product logistics services such as sample management, packaging adaptations, returns and destruction.
The company's customers are diverse and include hospitals, pharmacies and pharmacy chains, clinics, laboratories and research institutes, food chains, health food stores, nursing homes, specialty stores, convenience stores and end consumers (B2C, D2C)
Promedico operates in accordance with the most stringent standards, handling highly sensitive products that require rigorous handling capabilities, such as vaccines and biologic products. For this reason, Promedico holds a number of quality standards: GMP, a management system standard (ISO 9001), an environmental standard (ISO 14001), a medical device standard (ISO 13485) and a safety standard (ISO 18001). Since 2019, Promedico has also been certified the Standards Institution of Israel's prestigious "Platinum" standard.
The company provides services to leading Israeli and multinational companies in the consumer and pharmaceutical fields, including GE Healthcare, GSK, Abbott, Fresenius Kabi, Agilent Technologies, Johnson & Johnson, Neve Pharma and others.
What makes Promedico's service so unique is the personal adaptation in each of the channels in which it operates, and its ability to reach the widest range of points of sale in Israel's health and retail sectors in Israel. The company handles more than 1,200 orders a day, some 30,000 deliveries a month, for approx. 6,000 customers.
Creating employment for people with intellectual disabilities in partnership with the AKIM association – since 2006, employees with intellectual disabilities have been working at a dedicated employment center inside Promedico's logistics center in the Hefer Valley, integrating into the company's day-to-day routines and social events.
