Corporate Responsibility
Embedding ethical, social and environmental considerations into our day-to-day conduct
As a leading healthcare group, we are committed to acting responsibly, fairly and transparently toward all our stakeholders – customers, business partners, consumers, employees and the community in which we operate.
Year after year, our corporate and social responsibility work earns a high rating in the "Maala" corporate responsibility ranking, which rates more than 100 of Israel's leading public, private and government companies.
Committed to the Community
Our commitment to the community is based on an 80-year partnership with the communities in which we operate.
We listen to our communities' needs and work together with nonprofits and social organizations on a variety of projects, participating in the development of positive social change.
Acting with Integrity
We are committed to success and leadership while maintaining ethical and moral conduct in our day-to-day activities, in accordance with the rules specified in our code of ethics. The Group's code of ethics was written
and formulated together with our employees, and defines appropriate rules of conduct toward various stakeholders – employees, managers, customers, suppliers and business partners.
In addition, as part of our ethical commitment, we have implemented anti-bribery and anti-corruption policies, including the appointment of a compliance officer and the establishment of a full compliance program based on the provisions of the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and the OECD Anti-Bribery Convention.
Committed to the Environment
We work to increase our positive environmental impact by complying with environmental legal requirements, implementing environmental processes and technologies, and running environmental programs for our employees. Our activities include recycling, reducing water and electricity consumption, switching to hybrid vehicles, upgrading air conditioning systems, reducing waste and cutting down on paper use.
Environmental responsibility is also one of our business activities. Our subsidiary LDD is the Israeli leader in soil and groundwater remediation.
Anti-Bribery Policy
Neopharm Group is ISO 37001 certified (the anti-bribery and anti-corruption management system standard) by the Standards Institution of Israel. Neopharm was among the first companies in Israel, regardless of industry, to receive this certification, and the first pharmaceutical company in Israel to do so.
