Tal Fuhrer joined Neopharm Group in 2008 as VP Business and Corporate Development, after several years of working in the business development and marketing department at the Wyeth headquarters in New Jersey, USA. Prior to that, he co-founded YCD Multi-Media with a group of entrepreneurs. A Mamram graduate, Tal also served as a programmer in an elite Itelligence Corps technology unit.

Since joining Neopharm Group, Tal contributed to creating and realizing the Group's vision of developing unique biologic drug therapies for patients suffering from rare ("orphan") life-threatening and incurable diseases around the world. This includes collaboration agreements and strategic acquisitions, including the acquisition of Neovii and the establishment of Orphan Technologies (which was later sold to Retrophin).

Tal contributed to building a diverse, next-generation product portfolio intended for development and commercialization in the Israeli market, and for strengthening the Group's core activity areas. At the same time, his work facilitated new areas of activity by identifying and making long-term investments in companies with strong value-growth potential, as well as promising ventures and start-ups.

Tal has extensive experience in entrepreneurship, research and development, commercialization, management, investment, and the creation of collaboration agreements in the technology, health and pharmaceutical sectors.

Tal serves as Chairman of the Board of Mivne Group (a public company traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange) and is a member of several other boards, including BIRAD (Bar-Ilan Research and Development Company), which promotes the commercialization of innovative technologies with applied potential invented by Bar-Ilan University researchers.

Tal holds a bachelor's degree in management and biology, an MBA, and a master's degree in biotechnology, all from Tel Aviv University.
